As Christmas approaches, it’s time to think about how you can get your students in to the festive spirit. Rather than going completely off topic when it comes to festive learning, there are plenty of ways to add a festive twist to regular English lessons.

This pack is a great all-round resource pack to keep your students busy on the run up to Christmas. The pack includes 5 different activities suitable for KS3 and KS4, and is varied to cover different areas of English, including activities around poetry, writing and speaking.

These resources come as a pack of 5 and are beautifully illustrated and appropriate to the current key stage 3 curriculum. Included in the pack is tasks for writing to persuade, inform, review and describe.
This is a great resource for helping to teach students how to write persuasively whilst also learning about a great Christmas (and British) classic. This activity is particularly beneficial for classes that have been studying A Christmas Carol as part of their English Literature GCSEs.
