Best Christmas resources for primary school teachers

As we step in to December and the Christmas buzz really begins, it’s time to start considering how to bring a bit of festive cheer in to the classroom this year.

Whilst education is important right up until the end of term, Christmas is the perfect chance to have a bit of fun in the classroom. You don’t have to ignore your regular lessons, but adding a festive twist to your lesson plans can help to engage children at a distracting part of the term.

Teachit Primary offer a fantastic range of Christmas resources to help you have fun festive lessons that are still just as focused as any other lesson.

We’ve chosen our favourite resources to give you some inspiration:

  1. Key Stage 1 Christmas Pack

This Christmas pack features 24 teaching ideas with accompanying resources for RE, English and DT. It’s great for planning multiple lessons at once and links to the current curriculum for plenty of focused learning.

  1. An Advent Calendar of Christmas Crafts
